National Low Income Housing Coalition’s annual report on housing affordability in every jurisdiction in the country.
Of particular interest are the data on how many hours a minimum wage worker must produce to afford a decent, fair market rent, 2 bedroom apartment in your community.

State of the Nation’s Housing 2009
This study is produced annually by the Joint Center for Housing Studies. It is Harvard University’s center for information and research on housing in the United States. The Joint Center analyzes the dynamic relationships between housing markets and economic, demographic, and social trends, providing leaders in government, business, and the non-profit sector with the knowledge needed to develop effective policies and strategies.

The National Center on Family Homelessness
The Campaign to End Child Homelessness is urging individuals, state and local officials, policymakers, families and communities to advocate for solutions that work. Their over-riding goal is to ensure that help for homeless children is a priority at both national and state levels.
