Managing Your Escrow Accounts

HFH-NYS has created a RESPA compliant how-to guide which walks affiliates through the process of analyzing escrow accounts. The guide provides steps for computing required balances and cushions; it outlines proper procedures for resolving account shortages and surpluses, as well. This exercise is instrumental in helping partner families anticipate tax and insurance costs for the year.
