HFH-NYS received a generous grant from the estate of Dorcas Suzanne Kent, enabling us to provide one manual for affiliates and another for their partner families to use as as an overview of sustainable landscaping. Specific ideas from the book can be incorporated by both the affiliate and the homeowner and will bring long-term benefits. Choices made regarding landscaping when constructing a partner family’s new home will not only have a measurable impact on the quality of life of the family, it will also affect the long-term affordability of their home.
