What You Can Do

Volunteers are needed for such duties as:

Serving on committees such as family selection, site selection and fund raising.
Helping with office work and events
Assisting with home construction

Volunteers of all skill levels are needed. If you care about working to provide fellow community members with a home, Habitat for Humanity has a place for you to volunteer!

Contact your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate and ask about their volunteer opportunities.

If you are interested in providing full-time service, consider becoming an AmeriCorps*VISTA member. VISTA members provide full-time service for one year by working on a project that strengthens the capacity of the affiliate to serve more families. Go to www.americorps.gov to learn about the AmeriCorps*VISTA program and benefits, and look for Habitat for Humanity service opportunities.
