In a time when a safe home is critically important, we’re delighted to see Flower City Habitat for Humanity celebrating the completion of four new Habitat homes.
While the pandemic certainly created some unique challenges, safety was always the priority and social distancing guidelines were carefully observed (limited to one staff person on the build site), and they were ultimately able to complete the work.
Last week, Flower City Habitat turned over four sets of keys and each family is moving in as they can, and as safely as possible.
Kiomy and her family were the first to move in to one of these homes and although Flower City’s CEO, Matt Flanigan had to keep his distance, he was grateful to be among the first to say, “Welcome home!” to Kiomy and her family on move-in day. Congratulations to the entire Flower City team and a warm welcome home to all of the new Habitat homeowners!
